I don’t just make things pretty.

Hey, I’m Kristina. 👋

I’m a graphic designer turned UX nerd who has been practicing design (of all kinds!) for over 10 years.

I have had the pleasure of working with teams in established organizations, startup environments, as well as within the Federal Government.

It was in 2018 that I intentionally shifted my focus to practicing UX design in the federal space — as I wanted my work to have richer impact.

When working with federal partners, I pride myself on my ability to communicate clearly and guide teams to make pragmatic, intentional decisions as opposed to purely visual decisions. I’m proud to have left my UX mark at USCIS, USAJOBS, and HSI along the way.

In 2019, I completed my Master's Degree in Design Management with the Savannah College of Art and Design. Similar to the methodologies of UX, Design Management is a field of inquiry that uses project management, design, and strategy to control a creative process, support a culture of creativity, and build a structure and organization for design.

As of 2024, I am leading a design team at USCIS as we support a suite of biometrics and scheduling tools.
